Benötigte/Empfehlenswerte Vorkenntnisse[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
You will definetily need somebody who can write the back- and frontend for the project as well as pack the application into docker-compose.

Übungen[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
Project in teams of 3. You have to come up with your idea and implement functionality based on assessment criteria. You are mostly graded based on graph-related functionality (a broken ui would probably lead to points deduction) but still have to
implement a full stack app. (unless you come up with an idea for which you wont need a ui)
Prüfung, Benotung[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
2025W - multiple choice exam with ability to retake once. The exam on 02.02.26 consisted of ~33 questions, 10 of them true/false 0.5 points each. The rest a groups of questions around Graph Snippets / Code in SPARQL, GQL, SHACL. PG-Schema/Keys.
You project might revolve around certain technology (we used Sparql + Shacl), so be mindful about learning the other Graph Technology as well for the exam.
Exam - 40%
Project - 60%
Both have to be >50% to be positive.
The project consists of implementation and a recorded video presentation (you as a team record the presentation and submit it with the project)

Zeitaufwand[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
To learn for the exam its probably a 2-3 weekends of slow learning if you went to the lectures. As for the project it depends what grade you are targeting because you may spend a lot of time here or do just bare minimum.
6 ECTS is probably fair.

Highlights / Lob[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
Very detailed assessment criteria
Verbesserungsvorschläge / Kritik[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
You spend a lot of time building the application instead of learning the material of the lecture. While having free choice over the project is cool, having smaller tasks/submissions surrounding the relevant technologies (e.g. Sparql, GQL) would allow learning more without spending time on developing something that is only tangentially relevant for the grading (there are a lot of other VUs where you can/have to build a full stack app)
