Weekly lecture; Recordings from the previous semester are available on TUWEL
Oral examination at the end and throughout the semester. Approximately 2-3 dates with usually 2 slots (2 participants per slot) per month.

Basic chemistry & physics

I liked the lecture and enjoyed visiting it. The professors are very nice and try to engage with the audience. I especially liked Prof. Weiss' presentations.
However, visiting the lecture is by no means necessary. You can easily learn the material from the online videos on TUWEL, external resources (like YouTube), or from the many books available on this topic.

Prüfung, Benotung[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]
Oral exam; Two participants per time slot via zoom. Grades pretty much immediately after the exam.
The exam itself lasted around 30 minutes and it was more of a chat about the topics covered in the lecture. The questions were relatively basic, so no detail knowledge is needed. But you should know the names & basic principles of all methods and the associated terms. However, in my time slot, the professor did not ask about any formulas or other details. The focus was clearly on understanding the big picture.

- The first two and the last lecture were not covered in the exam. It's no guarantee, that they never will be, but the focus was clearly on chromatography and spectrometry
