Inhalt[Bearbeiten | Quelltext bearbeiten]

Very good lecture on negotiations (own negotiation style, strategies, tactics, process of a negotation, preparation, different cultures....). Although this lecture is a lot of effort, it pays off. You learn a lot and through the negotiations, the knowledge is also immediately applicable. My personal opinion is that all adults should have the negotiation basics, which are taught in this course.

SS24: I also only have positive feedback to give to this lecture. I found out about it by fellow students, and everyone had a very good impression about the professor and the course, so I thought I would try it.

The sessions present the theory as mentioned in the above paragraph and at the end of each session there is a small negotiation simulation where you try to apply what you learned in class. Depending on your character it might be easier or not to go through the negotiations. I highly recommend this course to people who feel that they are more reserved and quieter. You will challenge yourself and learn a lot about yourself too during this course. The professor creates a very open and collaborative environment during the class where you can formulate your opinions and ask questions very easily.

I honestly this this course has been the best experience for me in TU Wien.

SS23: There are 6 theory sessions (5 hours each), an assignment, a test, a big negotiation with a lot of preparation time and an online negotiation.

SS24: Same as SS23 but we did not have an online negotiation.

SS24: One negotiation per theory session to apply what you learned in that session, a final assignment that can be a group of individual assignment, a big final negotiation with a lot of preparation at the end of the semester.
