Homework[edit | edit source]
Since it is a "VO", there is no homework.
Exam[edit | edit source]
- The exam is oral including a written part. You will have to answer a question first, do some calculations second and answer another question third.
- Check the "Prüfungsordner" before learning for the exam. The questions repeat themselves quite a lot, but anyway you will have to know the fundamentals of RTS.
- Additionally, you will get asked if you have attended the lesson or you read the book. The questions will differ a little bit.

There are powerpoint-slides for download and there is a book which helps a lot understanding the slides:
"Real Time Systems", "Design Principles for Distributed Embedded Applications", Kopetz (Google Booksearch)
You can get the book from the RTS office for about 60€. Check the Library (or download it) if you don't want to buy it.
Personally I think it is a quite good written book, and if you are interested in RTS it is a good investment.
Time and Effort[edit | edit source]
The exam is not that easy for a 2h-Lecture. So make a early check how much time you need for preparing for the exam.
